	As a Creative Intern at Clove, an innovative healthcare sneaker startup, I developed a variety of graphics and animations across Adobe tools, for use throughout email marketing, social media, and website for product launches and editorial campaigns.&#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp;

I created the “With Love” animation above for Clove’s Our Story page, and the two animations below are examples of email headers I worked on for specific shoe colorways – Pink Up and Brilliant White.&#38;nbsp;Creative Direction by Chaereen Pak.

	During my first year at Penn, I felt there lacked a creative community – a place where people with multidisciplinary artistic interests could meet. At the beginning of my sophomore year, I founded t-art magazine&#38;nbsp;to bring together creators of all things to collaborate on projects.&#38;nbsp; t-art is a student-run publication focused on the innovative and collaborative nature of art, design, and technology. Striving to bridge the gap between artists and innovators at Penn and beyond, the group promotes greater engagement with the broader Philadelphia community. I knew this was a big endeavor, and my first task was to recruit a co-founder, Magnus Allan, to bring this project to life.
I designed the logo and website, flyers to distribute digitally and around Penn’s campus, as well as illustrations and motion graphics for articles and digital marketing. As editor-in-chief, I led and coordinated our digital and print editorial work. We published our first print issue in 2021, for which I led the art direction alongside Magnus Allan, and I designed the full 90-page magazine.&#38;nbsp;
The following year, we&#38;nbsp;conceptualized and curated an exhibition that coincided with the launch of our second print issue. Organized and co-curated by Adrianna Brusie, Caroline Jones, Avery Givens Nardone, and myself, the exhibition entitled ‘Resilience: Art &#38;amp; Design In Times of Uncertainty’, created a dialogue between the works of fifteen young and emerging artists based in and around Philadelphia. Our second issue, t-art magazine / volume 2, included works featured in the exhibition along with additional stories and interviews surrounding the theme of resilience.

	Through an open call for submissions, the exhibition brought together fifteen young artists from across Philadelphia and opened in May 2022 at the University City Arts League in West Philadelphia. The selection of works, made since the onset of the pandemic in 2020, explored the multifaceted nature of resilience, with mediums spanning from painting and photography, to embroidery and experimental documentary practices.&#38;nbsp;
For the exhibition, we created everything from the press release, posters, and promotional graphics for social media, to exhibition signage including brochures and artwork labels.

The first inaugural Helsinki Biennial, entitled “The Same Sea”,&#38;nbsp; focuses on a theme of mutual dependence, how everything is interconnected and each aspect of the world has an impact on every other, from the environment to politics. I envisioned a speculative graphic identity and visual system for the biennial that would later take place in 2021.&#38;nbsp;My work on all the projects was focused around the three digital collages below, rock formation-inspired forms that I created in Photoshop. I then conceptualized different ways in which they would figure in the identity, throughout posters, motion graphics, a publication, and a website design coded from scratch in HTML and CSS.

	I’ve always loved seashells and used to collect them as a kid. Inspired by the Murex Brassica shell, I could imagine designing an ear cuff based on its unique form and color.

In sketching the ear cuff, I interpreted the overall spiral shape of the shell through incorporating layers, which I later modeled in Rhino with a series of sweeps. To create my piece, I worked with silicone (Dragon Skin 30 and 20) that I casted in a 3D printed mold I developed.

	Memory is like a patchwork of moments from the past that inform our identity and make up our lives — from the music we listen to and the food we eat, to the places where we grew up and communities we’re a part of. The title of this project, Souvenirs, means memories in French, my second native language with English and one part of my cultural identity.

Inspired by the tradition of quiltmaking and its relationship to culture and heritage, this project is a reflection on memory and identity through an interactive digital experience I coded from scratch in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that you can find at souvenirs-quilts.com
I created this project as part of the Design Senior Seminar final project at the University of Pennsylvania, Spring 2022. In the second half of our spring semester, I developed the presentation of my work for our course senior design showcase. The project was highlighted in Penn Today by Louisa Shepard in a profile about my path up until today.

	Through the website, each user firsts completes a short survey with broad questions about themselves, after which they receive a curated selection of illustrated quilt squares based on their responses. 
They are then able to drag these squares to create their own unique digital quilt, representative of their identity, that they can save and take away from the experience.

	This project consists of a series of photos I took at Repo Records, a small shop with a wide variety of records in Philadelphia’s Queen Village. Although I visited the store once in October, I returned in December to continue working on and grow the project. I asked store visitors if they’d like to participate through choosing one of their favorite records or a record they feel defines them and holding it up in front of their faces. The following photographs are their conceptual portraits. 

Music is an essential part of my everyday, and I feel that different times of my life have been defined by various artists – from Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift, to Nirvana, Tom Misch, and FKJ. Music can make us think and feel; it can inspire to get up and dance and can also empower, uplift and bring comfort in challenging times. Some musicians shaped generations of teenagers growing up at a certain time. Listening to a band can be a form of connection with others while also being one of rebellion against norms. Further, a unique sense of nostalgia arises when we listen to an old song that reminds us of certain moments from our past. Who we are, is most definitely influenced by and reflected in the music we listen to. These are First Impressions of individuals based on the music they identify most with.
